Nov. 1-Noche de Brujas!!!

 Holaaa

Another week here in the MTC!

I played piano for a musical number in church with Hermana Arny as the vocalist and Elder Hahn on the cello. We played "There is a green hill far away" written by one of the music directors here at the MTC. We got the music Thursday afternoon and performed it that Sunday so definitely very stressful but it came together and I'm so glad Hermana Arny pushed me out of my comfort zone by asking me to accompany her. I needed an extra push because I havent performed on the piano in like a year and a half and get such bad performance anxiety but it went perfectly- definitely an answer to my many urgent prayers throughout that weekend haha. I have never felt so calm during a performance and I know God was magnifying my 2 days-worth of practicing haha. Also thanks to my amazing companion who was willing to run to the piano next to our classroom every time we had an extra minute or two haha.

Other than that we had a lot of good moments with the district- the unity is finally here just in time for the last week of MTC hahah. It was a rough road but we are definitely doing better than those first few weeks.

For halloween we did a photshoot as ghosts (like the tiktok trend haha), dw ill send some pics from that haha and we carved oranges bc we cant get pumpkins here but they look sick- we put them on our windowsill. That was our halloween :)

Highlight from my personal studies this week was reading Jacob 5- such a beautiful chapter depicting the history of the world through a metaphor using olive trees. The chapter is constantly repeating how much work God and Jesus Christ are putting in in order to help God's children return to Him. God wants us to succeed. He is doing everything He can to help us, as long as we accept that help.

Love you all :))
