hey mom! okay you know how much I love writing these hahaha
heres my quick update on life here in ecuador :) im finishing my second transfer here in Santa Rosa and this week we celebrated one of the most special Christmas's ive ever had. It was my second here in Ecuador and I think I needed 2 to be able to fully appreciate it as a missionary. Everyday I'm reminded of how special it is to be a literal representative of Jesus Christ. I've learned so much this past year from Him and the amazing experiences He allows me to have. These past few weeks have been full of so many miracles. We've been able to see God helping us in so many ways even when we don't know where to go (literally and metaphorically haha). Honestly I've learned more than anything in these past few months to just trust Him, to drop my own expectations and accept what He has planned and how He will carry it out. We've had so many experiences this transfer where things are about to fall through, appointments, interviews, and even baptisms but God fulfills every promise He makes us, as long as we include Him in everything.
One scripture that is constantly on my mind is in Alma, chapter 5, verse 14. My constant goal is to convert myself more and more to my Savior and His perfect gospel. I invite you all to read that scripture as well, it's been my theme lately.
